Marty Knobloch is SLEFI's Vice President - Asset Management. Marty is responsible for monitoring the performance, quality and compliance of SLEFI's real estate portfolio, currently an investment totaling more than $100 million, including assets under construction. He ensures that both existing and projects under construction meet budgets, schedules and local, state and Federal regulations; ensures that properties in the portfolio are managed effectively and within budget; and works closely with both the financial and construction functions of SLEFI to ensure all requirements are met, cash flow projections are accurate and investor's interests are protected.Marty has been an owner and manger of investment real estate since 1976, starting at the grass-roots level by buying and managing small multi-family rental properties for his own portfolio. In 1981 Marty joined Paragon Group, Inc. (“Paragon”) as a Senior Property Manager. Over the next 14 years, he advanced to the level of Regional Property Manager with bottom line responsibilities for over 4,000 units and a portfolio value in excess of $200,000,000. From 1996 through 2003 Marty served as an independent consultant for such national firms as J.E. Roberts/Archon, Allegis Realty Investors/UBS Realty Investors, and others. He also managed smaller communities for smaller private owners/investors. In 2004, Martin joined Pace Properties, Inc. as Senior Vice President Pace Residential. His primary responsibility being the development, leasing, and management of St. Louis's first mixed-use urban development – The Boulevard.
