St. Louis Equity Fund invests in affordable and market-rate housing and historic preservation projects. It provides a steady source of equity for area developers, and a variety of resident support programs for neighborhood improvements. This equity has been used to finance affordable homes and apartments and revitalize neighborhoods throughout the St. Louis area, Missouri, and Southern Illinois. In return, investors have received state and federal low-income tax credits and in some instances state and federal historic tax credits—while giving back to their community.
